Azafran 1994 is made in a totally traditional way, using natural resources and without using chemicals genetically modified (GMOs), neither within the fertiliser phase nor for combating pests. We achieve, in this way, a 100% organic saffron, preserving the soil fertility and the respect for the environment in a sustainable and balanced way. Azafran 1994 feels proud to be able to produce a maximum quality saffron with respect by the traditional way of processing, from sowing to final toasting and packaging. In order to ensure the quality of our product, at Azafran 1994 we only make saffron threads, thus we maintain its natural properties and this prevents any possibility of adulteration in other type of presentation (ground, powdered, capsules...) With the traditional drying process we get Azafran 1994 to distinguish clearly by the intense red colour of its stigmas, a noticeable and intense smell and a supreme colouring power.
